Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I recently had my car in the shop. When I was leaving through their gate it swung and damaged my car. They said they are not responsible because they don't own the property and lease it. There were no signs on the gate releaseing them of liability. Can you please help me. I don't want to get taken advantage of because i don't have the facts.

See a lawyer. Owners and Operators can be liable for damages sustained. The property may be leased but the shop clearly operates the property.
