Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I recently won a court case I filed agains a contractor who ran off with my money and didn't finish the project. He was supposed to paint my house. After pleading my case, the judge found in my favor in the amount of $1500.00. The money was due immediately, however, he did have 10 days to apeal. The 10 days have passed and he did not appeal. What should I do next in order to collect my money? Please advise.

Most lawyers have huge judgments they cannot collect...as the defendant has no non exempt assets..ie may have a home/car/job...but nothing to pay...good luck
