Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Refusal to pay for services

I began work on a ''Land'' project for the oil and gas industry near the end of February. It was my first such project, and those who gave me the work were aware of the same. They paid my first two billing invoices, then were tardy on the third, as I finished my work. I delivered the product to them along with my final invoice and asked for my pay on the previous invoice. They hemmed and hawed, and stalled, until two days later, when they said they would not pay me.

There is more to the story, but that is the gist.

What recourse do I have?

Thank You

Re: Refusal to pay for services

If you can't negotiate or sweet-talk them, you'll have to sue them.
