If my roommate moves with giving me a notice and I'm forced to move out can I sue her for half of my next months rent at the new house?

The answer to this question is: What rights do you have under the written agreement that you made with your roommate?
If the answer is "We didn't have a written agreement," then don't bother with a lawsuit.
