Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
School bus assault
My son was hit on the bus by a peer before Xmas. Yesterday he was assaulted by the boy. The school is glossing over it. He was also bitten. Both boys are 4th graders. I feel I have a right to send my son to school and expect him to be safe. What options, if any, do I have?

Bring this to the school's attention by sending a letter to the principal, certified mail, setting forth the details and demanding that the school take care of the situation. If that doesn't result in the matter being cured, you'll need to contact an attorney in your area that handles lawsuits with schools.
