Serving a Subpoena
Does a subpoena or subpoena deces tecum need to be served personally or is first class mail a suitable method of delivery?

It should be served personally. Of course if it's a 'friendly' subpoena, then 1st Class Mail is sufficient. But a 'hostile' subpoena must be served personally if you want to move for contempt for failure to show or produce.
