Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Signer not paying loan
I have an ex-boyfriend who is not paying a car loan I co-signed on. The lien company is harrassing me for the payments since they can not find him. Is there any way I can legally be removed for the loan? As the months go by this is hurting what little credit I have. I have not seen the vehicle in the past 9 months or him. I am a college student and I have my own financial obligation on a vehicle. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Signer not paying loan
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. Having co-signed, you are as liable as he is, and they know where you are.
