Slander
A plaintiff is at a party and the host makes a statement. The statement made hurts his business and he suffers acute depression. Is there a lawsuit here?

Re: Slander
Generally, slander is a false and malicious statement made in disparagement of a person which causes damages. Also, there is a short statute of limitations which generally begins when the statement was made. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
