Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Slander/Deflamation

My son Tanner died on March 23rd of SIDS. However, I am angered and destroyed by the actions of my sons mothers attorney. This man accused me of contracting to have my son cremated to cover up any evidence. He stated that I was responsible for my sons death. Even after the investigation at his request, and the autopsy performed by the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office, this attorney again stated these false statements in another motion to the court. This man also obtained the address of members of a bereaved parents group and wrote them in his attempts to further his litigation. This was my place of comfort, yet he attempted to destroy it.

I should also mention that last year I hired this man to represent my wife and I in a custody battle for her daughter and my stepdaughter. Please consider this issue and let me know if you might be of help. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

You can report the attorney's conduct to the State Bar of Texas as a potential ethics violation. A complete investigation would be required to determine the possibility of litigation for a slander/defamation lawsuit. If you have any further questions, please call me at 877-320-5232.
