Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Sold a car to friends

My husband sold my car to his best friend. It was suppose to be payed off in 12/07. However only 4 of the 10 payments have been made. Now they are moving. It was a fast decision. We did make a contract. I don't know what to do. Does it cost a lot of money to bring them to court? Can I charge them interest now since the contract is past due?

If your contract is any good, you could possibly repossess the car as long as you don't create a disturbance. You could hire a repo man to pick it up (and they are experienced) or if you think you can do it without a problem, you could do it yourself. However, if there is a problem, the spaghetti is in the fan blowing on you. Good Luck.
