Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
If im a student and got wrapped up in a lawsuit that I had nothing to do with can I just declare poverty or something since I have no income? They are trying to sue me for something like "participating in a conspiracy to conceal the truth" It was a car accident and I was in another vehicle not involved.

No. Poverty is not a get-out-of-court-free card. The plaintiffs may be unable to collect from you if they win a judgment, but that does not mean you can excuse yourself from the case.
