Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
I am being sued in a civil lawsuit by a person who does not own a driver's license or a social security card. This person is not US citizen so I don't they have other type of identity. Isn't there a law that states that a defendant has the right to confirm the identity of the accuser or plaintiff?
PS> I live in the state of Texas.

There were lawsuits before cars and social security. Non-citizens can file suit in the United States. You can attempt to confirm the identity of the plaintiff through the discovery process.
