Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Being sued for dog poisoning
My neighbor of 3 years is suing me for poisoning his dog. When I asked him why he had no reason other than the one time when I complained about the barking. This is very iffitating and it make me want to move. What are my options and how do I prepare?

If papers are served on you, read them carefully, then make your written response within the time period set forth in the papers. At trial, if it gets that far, be prepared to tell your side of the story to the judge.
If criminal charges are being pressed, you'll have to hire a criminal defense lawyer.
