Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
If I'm suing someone do I have a right to know what type of agreement that person and his attorney has? i.e. If they have a contingency agreement, exchanging professional services as payment, etc.

Yes, but only if the other side has filed any pleading that asks for attorney's fees. Otherwise, you don't have the right to know.
