Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Suit for

I am being sued by my former boyfriend and I don't know what for. He sent me a letter stating that he was going to sue if he did not recieve his belongs back with a week to 2 week period. When i answered him he pacified me and told me that it was not as important as a I made it out to. He never picked up all of his belongs more than 2 weeks later and I have tried at our last meeting to give him back his things but he said that he had no way to transport them and I needed to give back all his things at once. Now, I have recieved papers I from him stating he is suing me. But I do not know what for. He has filed the papers on his own and I don't think he has a lawyer but he is sueing for a large lump sum. How can I answer when I don't know why and should the paper work tell me why and if there is a why how can I find this out?

Re: Suit for

Answer by writing to the court, or wherever the papers say to make answer, and deny his claim.
