threats

a former boyfriend has threatened to make fliers of me in compromising photos, and post them all over my place of employment. what can i do?

You can report his threat to the police. Just don't tell him you have unless you already have, otherwise you would be committing a crime by threatening criminal prosecution. He is playing on your desire to keep these photos secret, but you take away a lot of his perceived power by accepting that the photos may become public or just their existence may. The more people on your side the better in these situations. You may get an attorney to sue for several torts, if the guy has some property. Personally, I think you should consult an attorney located where this guy is and the attorney can definitely help you deal with this. It shouldn't cost much and they may find a good way to keep all this quiet.
