trespassing liability

My neighbor had a contractor deliver a load of dirt using my driveway without my permission. The truck cracked my driveway in several places. Is the neighbor or the contractor liable for damage and are they liable for a complete driveway or just to patch the damaged part of the driveway?

Both may be liable for repairing the section of driveway that's been cracked.

Your neighbor is certainly liable for repairs for at least the damaged patch and maybe the entire driveway, depending on the nature of the driveway and the damage. Contact an attorney for assistance.
