Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Verbal Abuse by New Neighbors

My new neighbors claim they have

heard that I am a Devi Worshipper

(I am a 3rd generation Methodist

and devout practicing Christian),

an alcoholic (I drink maybe 3

drinks a YEAR) and that I have been

committed to a mental institution

(Absolutely NOT TRUE!!!).

I have lived in this neighborhood

for 7 years after my

divorce to take care of my elderly

father who died last July from

heart disease. Six weeks after his

death, the harassment began. They

claimed my 3 cats were evil and

since I had so many I must worship

the devil!! I laughed at them and

ignored their lunacy as "a bad

day". It has gone on for months.

They have called the police

everytime I do yardwork to say that

I am "cussing them out". Which of

course, I am not.

They are now accusing me of

"terroristic threats". They say I

am threatening to murder their

children!!! Which is total

nonsense. I now have to take a

tape recorder when I am out in the

yard to defend myself of their claims. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You may want to seek a permanent injunction against these neighbors for their conduct.
