Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

I have had 3 class C misdemeanor when i was 17 back in 2006, its been 5.5 yrs since the incident and now i am applying for citizenship.

1) What is your opinion as far as my chances of getting the citizenship?

2) I have only 2 speeding tickets after that incident

3) Should i mark that i was guilty, arrested etc on the application. I asked the police dept where i went and they told me that this record can not be given to anyone even the military if asked since its i was a minor at the time.

Thank you

Hello:

That entirely depends on what exactly were those convictions.

Naturalization Application

The Naturalization Application must be filed. If done properly, it will take a few months to receive the fingerprinting notice, and then several more months to receive the naturalization interview to obtain U.S. Citizenship. Shortly thereafter, if approved, you will have the swearing in ceremony to become a U.S. Citizen. Please note that many people find themselves getting the application denied or being placed into deportation/removal proceedings because of past conduct.

A criminal naturalization application must be done very carefully.
