Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Im 18 years old and in 5 months i graduated from high school, but my dad is trying to fix my immigrant status, and i have to leave the country, but i want to graduated first and then leave the country. do you think that immigration can give the opportunity to graduate and then leave the country?

As soon as you turn 18 year old, you start accruing unlawful presence. If you accumulate over 180 days of unlawful presence, you will be barred from reentering the U.S. for 3 years if you leave. If you accumulate 1 year or more of unlawful presence, you will be barred from reentering for 1 year. You and your father should consult with an immigration attorney before proceeding. Please feel free to contact me for a consultation as I work with individuals across the country.
