Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I was adopted by my dad at 13, but he did not register the adoption at the time he is now registering the adoption which will be a foreign decree of adoption with the state of texas. I would like to know is the adoption too late to file for immigration purposes

If you are over 16 years old before the adoption becomes final, it is too late. You must make a motion to record the adoption nunc pro tunc. Please contact me for more information.
