Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
I have applied for N-400 (naturalization) and have received an interview date for next month. I had answered Yes to Qn 16 for arrest, detention, citation.
I had indicated that I have received 2 traffic tickets at different times. I received a form letter to bring original or certified copies of arrest records or court dispositions even though I was not arrested and had to only pay a fine for the violations.
I have a certified copy of my driving record that no longer shows the violation as it had happened in Jan 2001. I called the county court and they have no record as well.
Will my driving record without any entries suffice?
The other violation was in 1997 and I don't have a record of it either.
1 Answer from Attorneys
If the court does not keep any record, they might issue a "no record" document.
