Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Boyfriend Deported
My daughter met a nice young man three years ago while attending a major universtiy in Texas. He had come over illegally from Mexico with his father, mother, and brother. He was thirteen years old at the time. He attended public school and graduated from a public high school. He has not been in any trouble, lived with his working parent, and worked for local restaurants to make a living. A year ago, he was deported. My daughter has been devestated ever since. He is 24 years old at this time. This young man feels that America is his home and he is in a foreign land. Is there any way for him to come back to America legally?

Re: Boyfriend Deported
Maybe. He may qualify for a waiver. The circumstances of the deportation are important. If those issues can be resolved, then it is still necessary to determine a legal category that he qualifies for, for re-entry. This is not an inexpensive process.
