Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
My boyfriend entered the U.S. legally but was supposed to return home after two weeks. Eight years and two children later he is still here. Is there anything other than us marrying that we can do to fix his situation?

If he marries a US citizen, he might appply for green card. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney.

It sounds like marriage to a US citizen is one of the few options he has to obtain lawful permanent residence.

Marriage, at this time would probably be his best option. His children cannot petition on his behalf until they are at least 21 years old.
