Brother with Papers being Deported
My brother was caught with marijuana three times, right now they are trying to deport him, He said they are telling him to sign a paper that means that he will be deported willingly, and not forced, they are saying if he signs it, he will not be arrested, is this true? or are they making him sign something else? thanx in advance

Re: Brother with Papers being Deported
He needs to read it. It could simply be voluntary departure. It could be a could option for him, rather than face the criminal charges, and a removal on his record. (And it saves the government time and money). It will be difficult, if not impossible for him to return to the US (it may be anyway). You may be able to hire an attorney to review his situation and advise him on the best course of action.
