Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Is there a way to bypass the affidavit of support with a big enough asset net value, if yes, how much are we talking about (5 times the poverty guideline for the household size?). Besides, is filing a petition for an alien relative (spouse) ;with both spouses being in the United States; possible with a visa waiver or is a tourism visa required? Thanks in advance!

If you are a U.S. citizen, your spouse can adjust status, based on your I-130 petition, as long as s/he had a lawful entry, including a visa waiver. However, the I-864 is mandatory, regardless of your assets.
