Change of B1 visa while in US

I am on a six month visit to the US. I was on a lookout for a job or study. Please advise if my present visa status can be changed to either a work or student visa, without leaving the country. What is another option for me to continue staying in the US?

You will probably not be permitted to change to student status without returning to your home country first. There may be work options but that would depend on your background. In the interim you may consider extending your visitor status if need be.
