Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
change of status h1 to f1 approved
Hi I applied change of status from h1 to f1. It's for the fall semester 2009 which school doesn't start until august. I got a email saying this has been approved. My question is can I still work until the school starts? Or I should quit H1b job right away?

That depends on the start date for the change of status to F-1. If it is effective immediately, then you need to stop working now. However, if the change of status takes effect later, then you can work in H-1B status until that later date.
