changing my status from b1 b2 to immigrant visa
Hi, I entered usa on B1 visa to take medical exams. my intension was to take the exam and return back. i was permitted 1 mnth entry in usa. now i ve decided to marry a US citizen. My I 94 has not expired yet. So can i file immigrant visa while i am in usa. will i be forced to go back to my home country before i ll get green card. plz reply soon.

You can adjust status in the US, if you meet the qualifications, and it is filed correctly and promptly.
