Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
US citizen marriage to L1 visa holder
This a follow up question to 11/15 question titled Immigration. I appreciate the response provided to me but had just one follow up question.regarding my Fiance and I marrying since my company recently relocated me to Houston TX and she is in Dallas TX on a LI visa / work permit, where we lived together. I plan to ask my company to transfer me back to Dallas so we can live together again. However, if we married prior to me moving back to Dallas with her could that cause a problem with her L1 visa / work permit? Could this be viewed by immigration or Homeland Security in a negative way.
Again I would appreciate any guidance / advise on this.

Re: US citizen marriage to L1 visa holder
Are you an American citizen? If so, file for her immediately upon marriage, and through those proceedings, her work authorization will not be restricted. If you marry without filing her LPR, then she loses the temporary intent on her nonimmigrant visa, and would encounter problems in renewal.
