We are us citizens we live in houston Tx. My 5month old baby still doesnt have his birth certificate we need to go to weslaco Tx will there be any problem with immigration

I do not foresee a problem if you remain in the United States. However, you should be able to request an expedited certified copy of your child's birth certificate from the county-recorder's office (for a fee, of course). If you plan on leaving the country, you will need to apply for a U.S. passport for your child.
