Citizenship based on common law marriage
Can a person file for citizenship based on a common law marriage. We live in texas, her visa just ran out this year, we have been together for 3 years

I think you may mean legal permanent residency (green card) not citizenship; and yes you can. It is a little more complicated, and you should probably have the assistance of an attorney.
