Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
US Citizenship from Green Card
I have a green card and will complete 30 months of stay in the US. Due to a personal reason I have to leave the US but still want my citizenship.
1) If I take a re-entry permit and re-enter the US every year will I be able to apply for US citizenship?
2) If I don't take a re-entry permit, and come back every 6 months, will I be able to apply for citizenship?

Re: US Citizenship from Green Card
Yes...go with No.2 option. You need to stay outside US less than 6 months to maintain your physical presence.
