Citiznship fingerprinting and other help
If a permanent resident apply for a citizen ship after 5 years on living here and is eligible do they have to be in the country once the process starts or can they file the application and everything and be out side of states for personal reasons....
Also for fingerprint and stuff i understand that for the interview u have to come back can finger printing be done in any other country or only usa? Its not a problem for me to come back for either of those but do i have to stay while the whole process goes on...
Appreciate a reply back....

Re: Citiznship fingerprinting and other help
To the best of my knowledge, it is not a requirement that you be physically in the US during the application process. Because of the way that USCIS operates, I would advise a client that it would raise a red flag, and slow down the process.
