Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Consular processing

I am an Indian citizen. I am currently on H1 visa in US and my adjustment of status application (I485) is under processing. I also recently got my Canadian residentship and got a job offer there and is willing to move over to Canada. My question is - if I move over to Canada and start working for the Canadian company, will I be able to continue my USA green card processing by switching over to Consular processing (by cancelling the adjustment of status) ? If not, is there any other way for me to maintain my US green card processing while working in Canada as a Canadian resident. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Consular processing

Doubtful. Once you move to Canada under residency; establish residency and start work, you will have abandoned your green card in the US. In fact, if you leave the US, without an approved advance parole, you risk abandoning your LPR processing in the US.
