Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Court Marriage

I am getting married to a U.S. citizen, but it will be in the court house instead of a big expensive wedding with photographers & stuff. Does that make any difference when we apply for my ''change of status?''. I have heard that we should have pictures of wedding with friends and family which I won't have in this case!

No it does not matter. Why not take a few snapshots of you both with the judge? Any after-wedding celebration? Dinner? There are many ways to document the legitimacy of the marriage.
