Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Cousin Marriage
I entered in US on K-1 visa.Me and my fiancee married and we have a 16 months kid now. Last week in green card interview they asked how we know each other and I told that we are first cousins. We dont know that first cousins marriage are illegal in Texas. But its legal in our religon Islam. We are waiting now for a reply from INS.
Now how I handle my case?
