Divorce from a legal resident (for 6 months)
I am an american citizen married in the US with a mexican guy for two and a half years. He has been a legal resident for 6 months. What is goin to happen with his migratory status??

That depends on the circumstances of the separation, as well as how the divorce proceedings are handled. If his LPR is not conditional, then the divorce will not affect it. If the LPR is conditional, and requires a waiver at the two year mark, then either you have cooperate with the process, or he needs to file and obtain a decree indicating he was not at fault for the breakup, together with evidence of the legitimacy of the marriage.
