Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Employment Authorization Card
I had gotten an EAD from OPT (f-1) student visa for one year and now I am getting married to a US citizen. So, do I need to apply for a new EAD since my old one will be expired in 6 months and I am applying for the change of status (greencard through marriage)?

Re: Employment Authorization Card
I hope that you will not shot change yourself by filing the necessary papers without legal guardance. Consult Immigration Attorney who will be free to offer advice one on one on each of your legal issues instead seeking generalized advice.
It will be a wise decision for you to apply for a new EAD with your I-130 and I-485 if applicable to your situation.
GOOD LUCK
