Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
re entry usa
I am a green card holder..2 years ago, I was arrested for domestic battery, but the case was dismissed by the judge, and I was not convicted. I have already had my arrest record expunged. I plan to travel outside the USA on vacation. Will I have any problems on re- entry even though I dont have a conviction?

Re: re entry usa
Probably not, but you might want to get advance parole. Also, remember when asked by Customs/USCIS if you were arrested, you have to say yes, and explain the expunction. You can legally answer no to the rest of the world, but an expunction must be revealed (just as deferred is still a conviction) in immigration situations. If you do not, they can refuse entry based upon a 'lie'.
