Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Father with F4- 2 catergory
My aunt applied for my mother 15 yrs back.My mother was the benficiary & along with her my father & 2 siblings were dependent. They were interviewed for F4 category visa. All were granted visa except my father whose file was put into adminstrative processing. They were interviewed on Aug 7, 2006. My mother & family is here texas but my father's case is still pending. It has been more than a year & pretty hard to live with divided family.we have called the state dept also but they say the file is pending for a yr. What can we do to find the status of the file.

Contact your Congressman's immigration liason, and see if their inquiries will produce answeres. Hire an immigration lawyer in your area who has familiarity with consular processing. It appears that you have progressed as far as possible on your own.
