Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Filing for a convicted felon

I am a naturalized citizen and am married to an alien whom I would like to petition for her to receive a green card. We have been married for over a year and have three children. Is this possible given her felony theft of property conviction from 1991?

Maybe. See an attorney, and explain the problem. Depending upon all the circumstances, particularly the age of the conviction, it might be possible. It needs to be a strong case, however, before bringing her to the attention of USCIS.
