Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

How to fix an unknown naturalization status

I have moved to the US at the age of 14, and my parents applied for my status. I have received a SSC with a no employment restriction. The family has disintegrated since then, and I have no contact with anyone. I am now 26. I cannot return to my previous country of residence because of a draft requirement. I'm a homeowner, and can provide tax returns for several years. I was recently arrested for possession, class b misdemeanor. But have not yet been charged. I am afraid that will lead to my deportation. I also dont know if I am a citizen of my previous country of residence, and I certainly dont have any way to show citizenship if I am.

I have obtained thru the FOIA the I130 for myself and my mother, as well as the I-485 for my mother on which I am mentioned. I also have the approval notice for her (but not my own) I130, I know that she voluntarily deported since then.

What can I do?

Re: How to fix an unknown naturalization status

Hire a lawyer immediately.

Your POM will jeopardize your immigration situation. Obviously, until you learn the entire status of your file, it is impossible to know your true immigration status. Hire a knowledgeable attorney, with experience both in criminal and immigration cases. Do not wait.
