Gaining Citizenship
my boyfriend has lived in the states his whole life. although he is not legal and neither are his parents, he calls america home. he has gone through all his acedemics in the U.S. he is graduating today from high school and wants to get his citizenship but doesnt know how. Tx doesnt allow same sex marriages so what can i do to help him get his citizenship? what would he have to do to become his citizen??

His first goal is to acquire legal permanent residency. He should meet with an attorney. If his entry was legal, he (and his parents) MIGHT qualify for cancellation of removal. This is a difficult method, and should only be considered through representation by counsel.
