Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
i have a good case for the VAWA petition police records and statements backing up my case...but when i asked my employer to provide me with company info. because this is one of the requirements and they asked why i needed it I told them why and now they're threaten me to call immigration or terminate me. Will i be affected if I turn in the VAWA petition? or Will they be affected? They're concern immigration will come to the company after I file the petition. so Im scared to file the petition.

Hello:
You should not need your employment records in anyway for the VAWA if it is done correctly.
