Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
My green card expired and I have a job of 2 years now. Would they have to fire me for having my green card expired and am I considered an illegal alien now? What are the consequences of having an expired green card? Thank you

You are not illegal.
You can go to the USCIS website (www.uscis.gov) & file form I-90 to renew your greencard.
For the I-9 (employer verification of employment authorization/eligibility), you can show them your social security card & driver's license OR your greencard & I-90 receipt notice.
