Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Green card- Record Expunged
I had 3 original criminal cases out of which 2 were initially dismissed to be refilled; and because of that, it became 5 different court cases. I had trial on 2 of those cases and I was found NOT GUILTY and other 3 cases were DISMISSED without any sentencing or anything. I was arrested 2 times. I never had any probation, community service or parole. All the charges were either Class ''A'' or ''C'' misdemeanor. I just had my records expunged and all of that is destroyed.
Now, I am planning on getting married to a U.S. citizen, would it affect anything in the process for me to get a green card; as I was never found guilty or anything of that nature. Do I need to mention any of those things which are expunged?

Re: Green card- Record Expunged
Immigration does not recognize expunctions. Everything has to be revealed, and certified copies of the dispositions have to be included.
