Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

H1 approved

Hello,

Employer told my H1 visa has been approved. I am in India and what is the next step for me? Do I go to the Chennai Consulate and appear for interview or do they intimate me of the interview? I am supposed to join the job in the US by Oct 1, 2006.

Have the employer send you a copy of the approval notice. The consulate should contact you for furter processing. You may want to contact the consulate to verify that this is in progress.
