Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
H1-B termination
My Present employer did lay me off and said they would be terminating my H1 from Dec 8th as i.e. my last day of employement. Do I have to transfer my H1B before that to an other employer or will I have any grace time to transfer? Please help.
Thanks,
Anupama

You need to have your new employer file a visa petition for you by December 8.
