Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
H1
Hi, I have a question about H1B visa. My status right now is F1, and I have applied for OPT. The OPT will start from June 1st. Can I still file for H1 on April 1st? My major concern is, Do I have to be on OPT While filing for H1?

Re: H1
As long as you are in status, you can apply for H1b. You want to make the application while you are in status, in sufficient time to overlap with your OPT status, while H1B's are available.
